I think it has huge potential. Bring out a token and Proof of Brain the application. That way the community can reward what they like as they see fit.

So are you implying that Hive is not something that should be rewarded? Because I spent millions buying hive to do just that.
Liketu leverages Proof Of Brain with Hive. I see no reason to do the same thing with a different token. I am a Hive evangelist and I'm interested first and foremost on seeing it's value appreciate.
Hive to me is about inclusively, equitable opportunity and compounding network effects. I think by purchasing and staking a large-ish number of coins, I am showing my intent to work with the community on building upon those community consensual values.
I also think the value of "Hive" is the accounts and ability to notarize activity on chain. The financial aspects of it are interesting but not the only things which matter.
All communities have gatekeepers, the difference is on Hive, there is a shared and proportionate cost or benefit to its stake holders, of which I am now a significant one.
If we're not engaged in keeping that gate wide open, and as welcoming as can be, then we might as well be guarding a wall.
Appreciate the ideas.
You have the potential with your app to have some of the biggest impact in the shift on Hive. The idea of a photo app along the lines of what you are constructing could be monumental.
Be sure to protect that.

I understand what you are saying and agree with everything you wrote here. However, there are some who are not favorable to short form content. That is something that has arisen in the past. I cant say it will happen again but it has turned many off from Hive.
