6-5 game would be an offensive ice hockey match :) Football matches have like 3 goals in total in average. I guess I've never seen 11 goals in a single game. It would be entertaining, though :) And kinda dramatic for the viewers.
There are 0-0 that are very good, tactical, with chances, controversial plays, goalkeepers flying... and there are 6-1 that are very boring because the defeated team does not propose
I can say that it depends a lot on the context. If it's in a final, 1 - 0 leaves you champion.
Matches with a lot of goals are great to see, but important matches worth a place or finals, it's difficult to see teams being so "fragile" defensively.

I tend to like low scoring sports. In NFL football, I rather have a 17-14 game over 42-39. But most prefer the high scoring affairs.
