LOL that is another matter altogether. That is why conversations in the comment sections is so important. It makes engagement a lot easier.
Sadly most do not reply to comments made to them.

That is very, very true and I've never liked the idea of having authors not responding to their audience.
I can see why it would be difficult for some and that it would happen from time to time, but ignoring your audience completely is a dick move.

Conversations in the comment section can actually enhance an article in a major way. To start, the knowledge spread can often outpace what is in the article. We also see how things can really help the SEO by extending the article. From what I understand the search engine do not differentiate between what is in the article versus the comment section. Hence it all is tallied up.

Yeah, I sort of told this in a comment I just made, but you are totally right. The converstations is valuable for SEO purposes as well as to look attractive to outsiders. No one wants to join a community without active users.

Agreed. If Leofinance is dead, nobody from the outside is going to look to boost it.
We are the ones who have to do it.

Honestly speaking, I think it's more or less impossible for you to continue to pull all of the dead weight much longer. You've been pulling a shit ton of weight so far.
One would either have to come up with a solution for it to be beneficial in terms of rewards for people who engage, so they feel appreciated and encouraged enough to continue.
Or, you ignore this entirely and just continue to trust the rather few active people to continue to make hundreds of comments for mostly dead ears.
The latter won't work in the long haul though. No one has that much energy, and it wouldn't work even if you upped your game. You can't have a handful of people being active all over a community. You need more people to pull this off, but people willing to make comments are nowhere to be seen.

That is true. It has to be a community wide effort. 100 people would really change things completely. Perhaps we need to start considering some form of public awareness. Maybe a bit of negative reinforcement.
