I think the CCP likes Tesla as much as any other company. To them it is all about control. As Jack Ma found out, stray and they dont like you much and will punish you. Musk must have heeded that example.
The government needs numbers and Tesla helps them in that area. If 14K cars were exported out of China to Europe last month, that is a nice boost. Plus I believe all those batteries are built in China too. The factory is humming so that has to make the CCP happy.
