Yeah it is serious business these days. Ethereum also. Both chains had record amount of mining fees last month. It is incredible.
And also the reason why other options need to be sought.

Yea those fees just keep adding up in ETH. I don't know the effects of ETH 2.0 so I tend to think the issue will be on the forefront of all crypto people once it forks.
