He claims to have invested in gold for 50 years. I wouldnt brag about that since that is a crap return over that time

A very crappy one to be honest. Gold would never be more productive as cryptocurrency. Whichever ways he chooses am sure he'll be fine. i do love his book "Rich Dad Poor Dad", learned a lot through it.

He does give some terrific basic financial advice and a way to have a different outlook.

However, from what I heard over the last few years, he is way off on his knowledge of economics and knows little about high finance.

I think that's expected of him, since the world is changing from what he knows back then when he wrote the book(rich dad poor dad). Would be a different content if it was written during this present generation filled with a lot of financial opportunities online, which cryptocurrency played a huge part in it.

Hope we have such a great book that can relate to the present financial situation.

That is true but it is about staying up to date. Plus I think he lacks the background or study to understand what is happening. He just espouses a certain ideology that is continually being proven wrong.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is an excellent book for mindset and some basics in finance. Outside of that, I dont see much value in what he talks about.
