For some players a change of scenery and an opportunity to get into post season does wonders. He’s been good in the past although not so recently until now ⚾️🔥
He was fighting the injury bug earlier in the year. I heard he pitched some outings while hurting. Not sure if it is true.
Also, he is a contact pitcher, having a defense of Bader, Lindor, and Iglesias up the middle doesnt hurt.
Solid and Veteran defense is paramount so he’s in good hands.
He is also under control for another year. That is a help.
