RE: Daily Crypto Markets Live Blog: Gaming Key To Crypto Adoption (09/27/21)

Here is a message from Khal to the growth team on discord.

@Growth Our new marketing firm has designated 4 freelancers to the project right now to do copywriting/SEO content creation. I am going to start by sending them a spreadsheet / list of article topics + a few keywords on each to get them started

If anyone has lists of potential content ideas / topics we can use, please send them here or even open a 📞tech-support ticket so I can send them over to the freelance writing team. We're focusing on SEO/news trendy writing. I've also reached out to Hitmeasap to try and get a large list of potential topics for them to take and run off to write dozens of articles.

Article flow will start with 7 articles a week and we'll continue to scale up from there and cross-link them all over the site. 500-1500 word, SEO-optimized content. Should be a fun way to experiment with organic growth!

It's promising but honestly they need to be articles that are evergreen and not time sensitive. Most traffic in the crypto world comes from news that hour and sends a quick blast. The SEO aspect of it doesn't come into play for a lot of things as DeFi and so forth move at a rapid pace and things quickly change. I'd hope not to many funds are being invested into this as it's going to be hard to recover costs.

Gear the articles towards your products by talking about hyped up projects right now and how you're products relate and help. This will help not with just traffic which is ok but better yet help people understand LEO, CUB etc and that they can join and start contributing as well.

Yeah, this just sounds like a marketing agency taking advantage.

I'm going to try and jump on a call with Khal and have a chat.

Also not sure why he's paying random shitty freelancers when we literally have an army of writers on the platform.

If he has money to burn, then he should be using it to train our own writers how to structure their content properly and ban affiliate link spam...

Go get 'em, Mr. Williams! I was literally thinking the same thing when reading the quote of Khal. Shit, anybody can call themselves an SEO expert. Why outsource when we have our own folks?

!giphy pie hole

Don't make a whole lot of sense to me, but then again? Sarge don't run anything but his pie-hole! 🤣

divert that marketing money to another good use.If you can get Khal to reconsider and make use of the evergreen content we're providing not just for @crypto-guides but for other projects we have individually, perhaps Khal can

Hey @bitcoinflood,

Do you mind adding some links to our guides when you write your daily blogs?

They're the pieces of evergreen content that you're talking about.

For example today's Cardano is priming itself blog could just link to our Guide to Cardano under any relevant anchor text.

Oh that is nice. I guess this will help along with you and the rest of the backlines for SEO purposes.

I think with cryptoguides we have a lot of content already linked. I even tried to fill small gaps between the guides and tech connecting those guides. It's his call at the end of the day.

Keep putting links in and filling the gaps where you can.

It's the same as what I'm doing.

(Anything with an orange banner on my page is just a filler but they all have links).

Are these freelancers out-sourced? I think we have a few SEOs who can do the job here. Just my thought.
