Hearts are from staking rewards. I signed up an account to vote for HIVE to be added to a list but I think we failed that vote attempt. Recently I heard they have a collaboration with HIVE and might airdrop something so I am collecting once a day.
Diamonds are from coinmarketcap. I believe they are copying the coingecko model for candies so I am not sure if they will be worth anything.

No benefits for now but we are hoping they are worth something in the future. I would say right now you can maybe get a few of the subscription stuff on their site.
