Yea those algos are crazy. Its also the reason why all the articles are written in a certain way so that those firms automate the process. It's not the only thing they run on but whenever the market just runs up or down, you can generally blame the bots.

Yeah the bots are all over the trading. I read that roughly 85% of all trades are automated on the stock market.

Yea those algos just keep running all the time. Even the stock market brokers have quants running in the background and they tend to cause most of the recurring price-action patterns we see also.
