Could this be a key to better security. A chip that cannot be hacked. Very interesting development.

This is crazy though. While we're stuck trying to put the self-driven cars together, we've got unhackable chips. Reminds me of something from a Marvel movie.

Well it might be advantageous to have an unhackable chip in a self-driving vehicle.
So they kind of go together.

I didn't really understand it as much. I understand they make it tough to crack but I feel like it will be once we get more powerful CPUs.

Works a lot like radio communications security systems we used in the military. A secure connection over radio waves would change the frequency constantly and unless one had the key the communications would be scrambled. It would be like listening to a radio show and having to keep changing the channel to get the whole show.
