@bitcoinflood with a good post about earning on Hive and some of the different Hive Engine tokens.
This is a good post for those who are newer to the platform.

Yea I think it is also great for newcomers. There are just way too many different tribes and its hard to keep track.

There is no doubt that is a lot of stuff to get up on. It is almost impossible to know what is happening.
This is only going to get worse as time goes by. People are going to have to be able to contain their FOMO. There are only so many things we can support both financially and with time.

Don't you think it is good ? People will understand they can't follow all communities so they will pick their community and stick to it ?

It is good to have options. But I am already seeing people who are all over the place and trying to jump into the next "hot" thing.
I see it with some in markets. Instead of specializing in something they will be into many different stocks, commodities, and now some crypto. Basically, they are all over the place and cant focus their knowledge in any direction. For trades this is fine but long term growth suffers.
On Hive, there might be a ton of projects that could moon. However, there are going to be many that do not. There is a time where we have to draw a line in the sand and say these are what I will focus upon.
With resources limited, how many is that? Perhaps 5 or 7 at most.

That's true. I think when we get to the point where we have a lot of different communities that are all very successful people will be able to choose the ones that interest them most and stick to them without feeling like they are missing out on not being a part of everything.
I know this won't work for everyone and some people will continue to "token hop" but I believe the upsides will be greater than the downsides.

Yes the problem with token hopping is that you never know when something will take off. It is stagnant for a while, that is the time to accumulate.
Those that are chasing the hot new trend are going to find they miss out on the enormous paydays that come from loading up on a few tokens, especially when effort is involved.

Yeah totally . They seem to be active on the tribes not based on interest but depending on the prices of the token of the tribe .
I agree with that . Instead of trying to be active on every community , it is better to focus on 2-3 and maybe invest and forget in rest of the tokens .

Notice all the posting and commenting using the POB interface.
That could be why the Leofinance comments are down by the way. People jumping on the next hot thing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hmm I didn't think about that, but it could be the case indeed...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh crap , totally that could be a reason.
But if you look it another way , the less people commenting here = more LEO earned by them due to less competition .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I completely agree. That can be very hard to do, especially on the beginning, but it's probably the best way to get the best ROI on our time and energy

1 post , 10 token earnings . Only possible on Hive but I hope these kind of posts doesn't encourage tag farming .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah I agree. Tag farming is going to be an issue going forward.
We need to be mindful of it.
At least the tribes can help to prevent that by muting people.

I saw a bad case of the CHARY tribe being taken advantage. That guy was dumping thousands of worth HIVE worth in CHARY. He was even making comments on his own posts and upvoting himself for rewards. But I think hes muted now and his reputation is negative.

People will just continue to play games.
It is sad considering if people put the effort in to creating legitimate stuff, they would end up building something very large. Sadly, many want the short cut and to scalp all they can.
I am glad tribes have some tools to stop that.

It's bad that a few people can stain the work of a good-intentioned group. But I agree, at least there are some ways of trying to stop that.
We are all owners of the communities we take part on so it's up to every one of us to watch and discourage that sort of behavior.

Few have this outlook. In fact, they are too busy bilking the system for whatever they can get out of it.
Hopefully we will see a lot more wealth generated here and things change very quickly.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Sadly, that seems to be the case. Most people seem to lack the long-term vision.
They act like nomads trying to collect what they can and move on instead of farming the land and making it sustainable in the long run

Yea it is up to everyone to figure out how to support the community. I just wish that people would start participating a bit more. Leave some comments and I think it will help a lot in getting them known plus it helps to start a conversation.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, everyone here on Leo Talk is witnessing firsthand what engagement can do. If we can expand this trend it could do wonders for the community
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea they didn't understand how to mute them from the tribe at first so they let him have a few more days of CHARY. But yea taking a few thousand HIVE meant for charity purposes is a dick move.
