Yea the dip keeps getting bought as it can't stay under the moving averages long enough. So I think a run up in the alts will probably take place when people start moving their money around. I am however worried about BTC being mentioned in so many news articles because that usually means we are near a short-term top.
I was thinking a short-term top was near too, now I'm thinking if it closes above 60,000 for a few days it has plenty of room to the upside before a pullback.
Or it could create more hype for other alt coins. I think wee are seeing many look past just Bitcoin these days. People are realizing there are a lot of other opportunities out there.
Yea it tends to happen when people pull out of BTC and ETH as they park their money in different cryptos. Obviously they are not satisfied with a stable coin so it has to be something with just as much potential to go up.
People make bank in the big ones (BTC and ETH) and then start to look for other opportunities. As the value of some of them grow, we are going to see different type of players getting involved.
I would say that is how the industry unfolds for a while, at least in the decentralized realm. We, of course, have the entire VC world which is radically different.
That could be although we are in a different era possibly. If we are going to see a lot of institutions jumping in, we cannot overlook the fact that it might change the game.
Ufff, if that breakout is confirmed, maybe BTC will drag all the alts with it to the upside. It was already seen in the 2017 cycle, let's hope it happens again and this time Hive will be one of those alts to skyrocket as well
Yea if the bull run is expected to run for quite a while. I expect BTC to make short-term tops, move money into Alts then swap back and forth. Its keeps the cycle going until its over.
Exactly, hive's own project is in fact already quite strong, just as leofinance is going strong on its own. Hopefully one day we will see hive and leofinance at the top of the top.
I think it will if we keep developing the way we are. I see plenty of crypto with no use cases. I personally think we stand out and there is just so much opportunity for everyone in HIVE.
Exactly. The important thing is that the project is very serious and we continue working to improve it, it does not remain stagnant. We are moving forward little by little.
Well it is not all of them obviously. They have a rather closed system from what I understand which makes some tokens very low volume which is vital for a pump.
So a few get in early, load up, and then trade between themselves. As the volume goes up, others see. Eventually, the original ones pull out and leave others holding the bags.
For that to be successful, need exchanges that do not have a ton of volume and cannot be arbitraged easily among different exchanges.
That is why they have the ability to do that as opposed to something like Binance.

Yea I think it will be dependent on the next few days. If ETH closes at ATH as well for a while, it might also create more hype for BTC.

It is a trickle down effect.

A waffling in this area would not be a bad thing for the time being. Bouncing between $55K-$60K would really help things consolidate.

@taskmaster4450le a rise in the hive price will also have a positive effect on the LEO token as a whole...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It could although it will likely drive the price of LEO down when priced in Hive. That said, it should help it in terms of USD.

That is all true although at some point the alt coins are going to separate from its dependence upon BTC.
That will likely continue to help things along but there are enough projects now with some sustainability on their own.

Without a doubt. There are a lot of things in the top 50 that seems to have no use cases at all or hopes.
We are actually not only building the uses cases but expanding upon them.

Hive will reach its potential. We are seeing things being worked upon that will help to push Hive and Leo both to greater heights.
It will take a few more months for things to fall into place but it will come.
And when it does, we will see things grow at a fast pace.

Each day sees a bit of progress. There is a lot going on. We will see how quickly a lot o this stuff comes together.
Hopefully we get some major rollouts within the next month from the development side.

So be it colleague! In the meantime, we continue with our work and giving value to the community daily.

$2 per Hive soon ?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol I would love it if it reaches about 1$ and sticks there .
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Give me double or nothin' :P

Soon. Very Soon.

Many are thinking there is going to be a Korean pump coming in for Hive.
They tend to push up HBD before they do that.
We will see if it holds true.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Why do they love pumping coins instead of hodling them? quick profits?

interesting, basically HBD is just the perfect victim
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah SBD and HBD both fall into that category since they tend not to be heavily traded.
If Hive is not known to the general public, HBD is non existent to them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
SBD is the perfect victim and we are the bystander who was chosen as the next target.

High Risk High Return. Its the people chasing after short-term profits.
