Can't help but think that one is "sticky" as part of Web 3.0 coming to life... our social "stock" does become entangled with our financial life.
I saw that socialfi is one of the categories on coingecko where hive was rank 2. I think this is a really interesting thing as it is a social media platform and people need this, they are addicted to platforms that are good for nothing.
It's normal, whenever there are new technologies and the terms associated with them also become fashionable, I suppose it's something cultural.
