1/ Tim Healey: Max Scherzer tried to play catch just now but it didn't last or go well. His neck is still "in spasm" as he put it. But he feels better today than he did yesterday.
The starting pitching is beyond repair. This is amazing.
Peterson is awful and basically needed to live in AAA. Max is ailing. JV is back. Segua is solid. Megill is lucky if he is a major league #5. Cookie might be done.
Cowgill is coaching first. Remember him for the mets like in 2011 or 2012. He had a great spring and then sucked for about 5 weeks in the reg season and was gone.
THere was a prospect named Evans, I think that was him, who had a huge Spring for the Mets, and then faded. I think he caught on a few years ago with the Pirates.

We had a few guys that had great springs and carried it over a bit, but definitely remember Evans @taskmaster4450le
Yeah he was one who did a bit of damage in the minors but didnt seem to amount to much.
