To be honest, I really see no point in having the ability to post links in top line threads based upon LP. The feature should be killed totally. I think it is good to have to drop a link the layer down.

What are your thoughts?

Thats the best practise - like industry standard. I have seen it in twitter done right. Links should not be top level. More annoying using this place as a link dumping ground.

Interesting perspective! There's a delicate balance between usability and clutter. Keeping links one layer down can indeed create a cleaner, focused top line & promote deeper engagement with the content.

However, some might find direct links more convenient. The key is flexibility for diverse user preferences.

I see no problem with it at all, but it does defeat the purpose of having dapps/sites that provide share this post to other sites which carries the link automatically and goes top level @taskmaster4450le

@taskmaster4450le - to clarify, if I'm sharing a post from PeakD to Twitter it will go top line, it's not going to drop the link to the comment.

I think I agree with you. But it is true that for those who have been on the platform for a long time with hundreds and thousands of followers, this does not matter. Likewise, your posts will have hundreds of visits...

No, I need that links to work based on LP.

Used to share Music #spotify links get embedded on thread which was Awesome also YouTube video getting embed..

These two reasons is why I want it back on feed with LP based.

I tend to agree. Having aspects LP based lends to the "I'm special" mindset. Keep the playing field level for ALL users. Write a post that makes me want to clickthru for the link. Actually put effort into it!

all hail taskmaster u are always right
