RE: LeoThread 2023-05-27 10:56

It is crucial that Leothreads (and microblogging on Hive) kick off the network effect.

This is something that we all need to pay attention to. It starts with consistent activity. That is where we get the ball rolling.

Sort:

Why roll a ball when you can roll a joint

Seems like the basis of a threadstorm.

How to roll the ideal joint while driving down the highway and getting a BJ.

Not that anyone would try that.

Well I wouldn't blog about it..

Introduce parameters like 7-Day 30-Day moving averages of thread count to ascertain consistency

There are many ways to do it. Can break thinks up into different times frames so there is weight to newer activity.

A lot can be done. However, get threading is the first key. We really need to push the 100K level as soon as we can.

Yes. But at least we need to start some kind of algorithm in this direction. Threading will go on, but having empirical data helps to maneuver it correctly.

It is on a blockchain so anyone can generate whatever data they desire. That is the key benefit. As for Leofinance, there is a lot of stuff to do.

If people started building around it, we would see more rapid expansion.

We need some more curators for threads only

People need to stop looking at it through the typical "Hive lens".

What we need is people seeing the bigger picture and engaging. Social media exploded with no rewards.

More people will thread when they know that threads they post will B visible. We may begin a thread conversation @ LeoThreads, but if we move 2 a Layer 1 front-end 2reply, then anything tied 2 that reply is rendered invisible by LeoThreads.

We've all done this at one time, even recently. Yes, it's all on blockchain. Yes, dApps can be made which present any data in any way. But most Hivers don't think in those terms; they just want to interact and engage however is convenient.
