Disagree. Marketing does not solve the problems. Hive needs smart contracts and Leo has a lot more work to do before it should even look to bring people here.
The start is Hive people need to use Hive and leo.
The price of $LEO is not the most important for me right now. Just seeing all the work being done around the entire Leo universe makes me believe in it big time!
Exactly. Seperate entities. Just because they may share the use of some common tech - i.e. the stock/token market - doesn't mean valuations can be comingled as a singularity.
The upwards movement of valuation from a subset or derivitive of the parent is common. So yes, $LEO should add to the overall value of $HIVE. The amount is debatable based on several factors, but the input of effect is to be expected.
Using just the $HIVE example, there would be considerably LESS value overall without the use case being demonstrated through Layer 2 incentives. They 'power' the growth cycle of the parent.
While I believe there needs to be some (conisderable?) change in the overall business model, the implementation of additional Layer 2 resources will be interesting to watch.
hive and Leo are two perfect projects that need more marketing.

why don't we work on the smart contracts then, I know it might not be easy but what is stopping us?
It is being worked upon. Have you not followed the SpkNetwork or VSC projects?
nope, I have to look into that. Do you have a link to make things easy for me?

Without a doubt. I dont need the markets to validate my decision of where I invest.
That is what people are looking at when focusing upon price (unless trading).

Exactly. We can see how they both could rise or fall together. It is not a contest between each. In fact, the value of $LEO should feed into $HIVE.

Without a doubt the correlation to input of value is variable. However, we know that it has to flow though in some percentage.
Layer 2 is crucial for blockchains.
Using just the $HIVE example, there would be considerably LESS value overall without the use case being demonstrated through Layer 2 incentives. They 'power' the growth cycle of the parent.
Without a doubt. There is a limitation to just the transaction/ledger layer.
Smart contract change that but bring scaling issues. Hopefully Hive can solve this with layer 2.
While I believe there needs to be some (conisderable?) change in the overall business model, the implementation of additional Layer 2 resources will be interesting to watch.
That makes sense for every HE tokens. Although none of them are LEO. But I said enough times pricing in HBD would be needed.
Agree completely. We will not see it on HE but hopefully some of the other Smart Contract Platforms like Spk and VSC build it in.
I hope so it'll pump more
