The problem with what we have on Leo (actually Hive in general) is one off stuff. Everything is a one time impact and that is it.
Leo is working on changing somethings. Some of us are also putting together projects that will compound over time. When the focus shifts from one off to "lifetime" (or recurring), then we have an entirely new model.
This is why much of what Hive experience was akin to the spinning of wheels. Time to change that.
Exactly, longevity. Repeat customers, repeat engagement, repeat subscriptions. Eco-system and commnity.
Yep. Especially without search being so poor.
That is why a new approach is needed.
I sincerely hope that short form will get some people off the blogging treadmill we will see less forced content because there will be more ways to earn. Evergreen and subscriptions encourage us to find our readers/viewers outside hive, and I think short video content will make that a whole lot easier!
