I havent really watched exactly. We are at 97K now on simplyanalytics since it went live.
There was a contest which skewed things. A big drop yesterday to about 12K.

If it is a thread with the twitter like ads, I think they do. But yes there are something that change.
How that affects the numbers I have no clue. can only base it upon what is shown on the site.
