In Cuba there was a time when anyone caught by the police with USD in their possession was imprisoned. Currently, according to them, they sell $100 a day per person, but they only sell to 4 or 5 people a day.
Here without the black market and cryptocurrencies, I don't know how this would work.

It's a shame that this country is in the situation it is in. Before, a lot of people came to visit, not even tourism comes anymore because of the bad conditions. The last beer I had I don't remember when it was, but thanks for this one.

About HBD, it's good that PeakD for example is now showing both the internal market & CoinGecko price. There was a lot of confusion because of the crazy volatility of the CoinGecko fetched price.
CG gets that from one exchange that has low liquidity & volume.

HBD it's amazing, I use to be worried about his volatility, now I understand that it doesn't happens in the internal market, that's a very important subject to clarify.
What if the HBD savings % was dynamic in a way that it would change, higher when bear cycle to attract users to Hive, and lower when bull?

I think we need to really learn what can #DeFi can do for our communities and start setting up systems.
Without a doubt. We have to build the systems from the ground up. That will make it easier on education. After all, right now we only have to teach them about HBD and savings since that is the only DeFi the blockchain really offers.
This is the documentary that I mentioned during your show. It's a bit hopefully but you can also see how most people won't get that benefit. It goes over their heads.

You can get USD in Mexico pretty easily, there are many exchange houses for fiat, all legal.

I think that th 20% a month is great, it shouldn't be played with. Specially for mid-term investors. Once you take that off the table it looses confidence on the project.

We still need to narrow the digital divide so that more people can also understand the sophisticated financial tools. Things like #DeFi #staking #loans and other type of services and even develop business to short the divide.

I am so happy I got to join the Live session of the “This Week In Hive” Thanks to the speakers.
I listened to it on my drive to upper Austria, really enjoyed the show. One thing: Dan was super silent and I had to turn up the volume to hear him, when you started talking again it was very loud. Otherwise amazing show!
