I was thinking in terms of a long form blog post, and I think we have that covered. Threadstorms could be extracted from that blog post. It depends on what the guide needs to cover.
Definitely. Oddly enough, we wouldn't be able to use tables in LeoThreads or LeoArticles at this time; somewhere along the switch to the current UI that ability was left behind. Code fencing is a workaround, but it's not 100%.
I'm asking myself what kind of info would I want 2C in this futbol guide. At a minimum, it should include all top-level leagues worldwide, organizations such as FIFA, tournament play, a ltd Who's Who. A bit of history would be good, too.
It depends upon how far down the rabbit hole you want to go with it. There is enormous potential. You could do stats like baseball reference. YOu could do history of the leagues and teams. Player profiles.
Hive can handle having something like basketball-reference.com, but that will take lots of resources and time. My idea was just to have a booklet-type guide for people who can't tell football from the balls of their feet (like us).
That's the kind of information I'm talking about. Essentially, the guide should answer one question: why should I care about a sport that's alien to me yet has billions of fanatics worldwide?
I could wait 4 1 o D Leos here who's an expert in futbol 2write the guide, but that can take a long time & cost many lives. So I'll do it myself as a series of posts once I get ideas on what 2cover. I have ideas, but I'm missing things.
I actually love the idea now that we chatted it out. I think it has huge potential and could be a major bonus to the ecosystem. This could get enormous and trust me, I know how these databases can expand. LOL
LOL, you definitely know how databases can expand! I discovered that too while I was workinf with #XLSref; I haven't dropped it, but I want to get a few things out of the way before I resume it regularly.
There is definitely great value there-- monetary, marketing, educational, even representative of Hive blockchain and LeoFinance. I wouldn't mind doing this as a full-time job for full-time pay, but that's getting ahead of myself.

I would imagine you could use a lot of tables with leagues, rankings, rosters, etc...

One of the many things to go tits up with the conversion. Maybe in time it will be straightened out.
It could be an interesting project. I would set up an account to post under so it is all in one place in that regard.

You could even get into stadiums, fanbases, and ownership groups.

It could become a treasure trove of information about the #sport.
Then develop a series of posts and information pertaining to what you are designing. And tie as much of it into Leothreads as possible.
It is a fantastic market with plenty of stats and info. All of it could go on Hive.
