Certainly a way to cool things. The only issue would be energy to power them. But the cooling would excel. Screw the fans, just open up the door.

Unlike the Arctic, Antarctica is a continental landmass. Beneath miles of ice could very well be volcanic or geothermal activity. Think of Iceland only 10K times more powerful.
Geothermal could be the solution. Havent looked into it.
