Well I am not sure how much the Russian Ruble is desired either. That doesnt have global appeal. We saw with COVID, when the world gets scared it runs to USD.
Maybe the Russians will want some HBD also.

Yeah they have to get around the sanctions.
Maybe a USD denominated asset that the US Government has no control over could interest them.
I know it can be interesting for them, I have some family in Moscu but since the pandemic and the war, I haven't been able to visit them.
