I was looking into 12 different hive projects which could each net me $5000 a year, so that I could have a $5000 income.
That challenge I see with this is that it is hard to manage, stay upon, and fund that many projects. I found those that start with 3 or 4 can make some amazing progress.
One might take off that makes up for all the rest.

Being "early" on STEEM makes it so that we are automatically a part of 3 or four projects.
I am finding that others that I invested in 3 years ago, need only a little tending, and they will keep growing.
Like splinterlands - the game has made it so that the growth has been exponential, and now it is generating passice income.
I remind myself that I am building something I can cash out "later"
But yeah, 12 is a lot...

Those who got into SPlinterlands early really were able to benefit. Many of them are now at the point where they are riding a huge wave. It should only get better for them.
I keep building a base in some areas and then letting it grow. So then I can keep active focus on a few and the rest is passive.
