Well that is what the kids are learning today in school and paying a price for it when they enter the workplace. Suddenly, they are not so special nor coddled.
It is a rude awakening. Look at all those in tech who got let go.

Yes, I have experienced this to some degree I have also realised that you don't need to be special to make your impact on the world and it doesn't have to be the world in the literal special but your sphere--family and community
Actually we are seeing ways to reach more people due to the internet. Take Hive, a single upvote to a person in the right country could have a serious impact.
