Is tempo important especially in the hips? I guess pace (speed) is important.
I think this is driven by the drummer, the one with the stick.

Pace is more important for a one man band I should think, tho I am no expert on tempo, or drumsticks for that matter lol
Ah ok. I understand. Yes a one man band or someone practicing to get the right temp.
Well there is a difference between easy listening and hard metal. Both can use the same drumstick but for different moods.
