Amazon has made the decision to discontinue its same-day delivery service from brick-and-mortar retailers, known as Amazon Today, which was launched in 2022. The service allowed retailers who sell on Amazon to offer speedy delivery from their physical stores and shopping malls in select cities. According to sources, Amazon has stopped developing the service and will begin winding it down, with the majority of the program set to be shut down by December 2. Select retail partners will be able to continue fulfilling orders through January 24.
