Tien Kung humanoid robot demonstrated advanced mobility by successfully climbing 134 outdoor stairs at Haizi Wall Park.

The National and Local Co-built Embodied AI Robotics Innovation Center developed the robot, which uses vision-based walking to avoid stumbling over height disparities of 35 centimeters.

According to a statement sent by the innovation center to the Global Times on Monday, it can sprint on snow, achieve speeds of 7.4 miles per hour (12 kilometers per hour), and endure severe impacts, demonstrating its toughness.

Even human climbers find the park’s stairs difficult due to their irregular heights and loose or damaged steps. However, a spokesperson of the innovation center informed the Global Times that “Tien Kung” handled them with ease, proving its versatility.
