At its 2024 AI Day event in November, Xpeng introduced its first robot, Iron, marking a significant step into robotics. The robot features over 60 joints and 200 degrees of freedom, incorporating technology from XPeng’s AI-powered electric vehicles.

The company also unveiled its flying car, the AEROHT, at CES 2025 in January. The model features a modular architecture, which includes a detachable air module housed within the ground vehicle.

Standing 5’8” tall and weighing 154 pounds (70 kg), Xpeng’s humanoid robot, Iron, is already in operation on the company’s production lines. It is actively assembling the company’s upcoming EVs.
