It seems to me desirable to have as much homogenity as can reasonably be achieved in the set of sub-languages of a given language system–the system, for example, of programming, debugging, and time-sharing–control lanugages related to JOVIAL on the Q-32, or the system related to Algol (if such were developed and turned out to be different from the JOVIAL set) for the Q-32 computer, or the set related to FORTRAN for a 7090 or a 7094.
