The magnitude of the project is huge, and BYD Energy Storage believes that it “will redefine the value and status of electrochemical energy storage solutions in the global energy landscape.”
It further hopes to continue investing in technological research and development and collaboration with international partners to bring in a new era of energy transition.
It also feels confident of delivering upon the Saudi Arabia project in time, to enable its smooth functioning in the desired timeline.
The MC Cube-T battery storage system
The MC Cube-T ESS to be supplied by BYD uses a new generation of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells to store energy.
The company’s website states that it has passed 10+ destructive tests, six-dimension high-precision detection, and four-level active and passive protection. The LFP battery is also safer and has a longer life, which leads to more energy and less footprint.
