  1. Stir in the dried thyme and season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet and spoon some of the Marsala sauce over the top of each breast.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  4. Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve the chicken breasts hot, spooning some of the Marsala sauce over the top of each breast. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
