- Stir in the dried thyme and season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet and spoon some of the Marsala sauce over the top of each breast.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve the chicken breasts hot, spooning some of the Marsala sauce over the top of each breast. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
