All the known safe havens are turning out to be not so safe. It makes it very challenging to preserve your wealth. Retiring in the next decade will be very hard, even income-producing properties arent safe from gubment price controls anymore.

I wouldn't say that, just because someone is willing to let go of an asset under market value because they made bad bets should not be a reflection of the asset, if someone needs money and they're willing to sell you $100 for $2, I take that deal every time, because you know it returns to its fair value once the forced sellers are forced out
