I'd already been looking to leave the US, but you've definitely given me a new perspective. As a digital nomad, I'm used to moving easily between countries or cities. However, establishing residency and/or citizenship in many places strikes me as an excellent, albeit, more expensive way to go. You didn't mention medical autonomy, which is vitally important in this day and age. I know Singapore was recently heavy handed in this regard, resulting in plummeting birth rates there. I know many of us refuse one-size-fits-all legislated medical interventions. This is the number one priority for me. I have a feeling Singapore won't be so "precious" about accepting new residents in the next 3 to 5 years. I, however, won't bother to consider that country for previously stated reasons.
