Australian football is a mess.
Western United are a relatively new club that is meant to be for future 'west Melbourne' suburbs that aren't even built yet...
So fucking dumb and should never have been let into the league.
damn well I saw they were from Melbourne.
That sounds stupid so how were they let in the league , was someone kicked out?
The #aleague is just like the US MLS where it's completely closed.
In 2005 the league was launched with 8 all new teams.
Western were just added to expand the league.
Chosen literally because the old tv broadcaster wanted more derbies...
So they have no stadium, no fans, nobody cares... oh but the tv gets to say DERBY!!
