How to prevented unwanted debts

There are several ways to prevent unwanted debts:

Create and stick to a budget: Make a plan for how you will spend your money each month and stick to it as closely as possible.

Avoid impulse buying: Take the time to think about a purchase before making it and ask yourself if it is a need or a want.

Pay off credit card balances in full each month: Avoid carrying a balance on your credit card by paying off the full amount each month.

Be wary of loans and financing: Be careful about taking on loans or financing for things you can't afford to pay for in cash.

Avoid unnecessary subscriptions or memberships: Cancel any subscriptions or memberships that you no longer use or need.
Save for emergencies: Build up an emergency fund so that you can cover unexpected expenses without having to borrow money.

Make a list of all debts: Gather all of your bills, statements, and any other information related to your debts and make a list of them.

Prioritize debts: Identify which debts are the most pressing and should be paid off first, such as those with high-interest rates or late fees.

Create a debt repayment plan: Make a plan for how much and when you will pay towards each debt and stick to it as closely as possible.

Consolidate debts: Consider consolidating multiple debts into a single loan with a lower interest rate, to make payments more manageable.

Negotiate with creditors: Reach out to your creditors and see if they are willing to work with you on a payment plan or lower your interest rate.

Seek financial counseling: If your debts are overwhelming, you may want to seek help from a financial counselor or a non-profit credit counseling agency

The first step towards investing is eliminating debts...followed of course is saving.

Really great post and with useful information; as far as I'm concerned, I avoid debts like the plague, I buy what I can, otherwise I start putting the money aside and when I have it all, I buy what I need... but never make installments!

Thanks for sharing!

Eliminating debits will always remain very important for anyone that wants to live a financially successful life..
