Knowing how things are in my country, I think it will be persistent, but hopefully I am wrong and they will fix it quickly.

What happens is that I live on an island, and the internet, water and electricity services come from the mainland through a submarine cable and pipeline. And the submarine internet cable is the one that is failing.

Sort:

Is everyone there complaining about it or is common place?

Yes, people complain when it is too consecutive, but they do not go to the extreme of making a major protest because they know that if they do the government will lash out against them.

So essentially its part of normal life. Don't overstep the bounds but get enough say in so they know to fix it as soon as possible.

That's right buddy!

Of the three, probably the one you want to do without if you had to choose one.

Going without water or electricity sucks.

Yea without water and electricity would be a nightmare in the US. I was already annoyed by a few blackouts and if you add in no water, I would be screwed.

I imagine people would riot in the worst way if this happened hehe. Here in Venezuela because people have gotten used to this, but it shouldn't be like this.

I think most are. It is really something that is vital. Internet is close when you think about it but for a few days, it can be overlooked. Long term, certainly not.

Some people live (or lived) off the grid just for fun, not necessarily as a way of life. 🤔 Still, they (most of them) knew what to do when electricity or water supply is interrupted (and some really appreciate the their importance). 🤔🤔

Yea I guess if it happened a few times. You would probably learn what to do so next time wasn't as hard.

Exactly my colleague. Although thank God we don't have any serious problems with water or electricity. Sometimes there are power outages but only for a few minutes.

Exactamente colega.

Power outages for only a few minutes isn't that bad. I hope your using a labtop or something otherwise all your hard work might be gone if you don't hit the save button
