Brilliant plans that fall apart over time... The 1440 idea was interesting but in the end a little complex, Jefferson's influence carried a lot of weight at the time. Just too bad that we moved away from the gold standard, I know big business liked the inflation but our money has lost most of it's value.

Story of humanity, I guess: the rich want more money so they corrupt the government and use that corruption to ruin the money supply so that they have even more money. Oh well.
