It would be so nice if banks would accept cryptocurrency as collateral.

I was once curious and visited a local rural bank.
I was surprised to know that they accept brand new cars as collateral and but not cryptocurrency.

As far as I know, almost all cars decrease in value over time.
The newer the car, the faster its price declines.
There's also the risk of being involved in an accident.

Cryptocurrency has a similar risk, but it has the potential of increasing in value.
