Security researcher Luke Parker alleges that THORChain didn't pay him a major bug bounty he was owed.
If everything happened as Luke said, this isn't a good look at all.
I love THORChain, and all the 9 Realms etc. people I've met in person (of course including JP).
But some responsible decision-makers did kind of jerk around Dash, Monero, and many other chains that were promised an addition to the protocol in the past.
I moved on and hoped that behavior was behind us, but maybe not? Fingers crossed for a resolution! 🤞
how can I spend Dash at my local grocery store? With no KYC. Still learning about how to live on cryptocurrency alone.

You would have to get a gift card or a prepaid debit card to use at a grocery store. I generally just hit up Bitrefill or Cake wallet, depending on what currency I am trading, and get the gift card there for whatever store you are shopping at. For me, it's generally Walmart, lol.

Yes, there are. The one Joel said is one of the bigger ones. Most require KYC though. I hate Shopify, lol. Have to use it for a client, but there are way better crypto payment options for Woocommerce.

Gift cards or prepaid debit cards purchased from services like Bitrefill and or Cake Wallet, there are others, but those are the ones I know and use. I am just getting into the prepaid debit cards, but been getting food with Walmart gift cards for years now. Or you can get Instacart and Doordash gift cards and have them bring you groceries.

yeah, honestly never thought i'd see this. i'm kinda on Luke's side here after more updates.
After talking more with the THORChain team, I'm kind of more 60/40, still in Luke's favor because he seems to have been technically in the right.

Still very important technology, but doing business with the team can get a little sketchy.
I agree it's important tech, but when it doesn't support what I personally use, then it is of no use to me.
Yeah. Now Maya on the other hand, which is built with THORChain tech but which supports Dash (and LeoDEX lets you go back and forth with Hive), is awesome, and the team is really good and professional.
