Hard crypto lesson it took me a while to learn: non-tech things matter as much, if not more, than tech.
The best projects fizzle out because of poor marketing or adoption strategy, or just the wrong leadership and community members. No matter how decentralized.
Some of the most trash projects do well because they had the right people and the right adoption strategy.
The best tech rarely wins!
You're very right on this. I usually pay more attention to the team running a project than the project itself. A meme coin with a good team behind would do better than a layer one coin of a Blockchain with bad managerment
Tech is the precondition. Team, conviction, and product-market fit makes me pick among the best tech projects.
Okay, I like the factors you look at, I will include that when deciding. Conviction and product-market fit are very crucial.
For sure.
Spot on, wrong leadership can sink a project, gotta have great PR!
Absolutely.
this was a hard lesson for me to learn and I still don’t think I’ve learned it completely.
It takes a lot of learning and thinking. I'm like maybe 70% of the way there.
