Today marks exactly two months and a day since I joined the Hive platform through Inleo and Dash partnership. This period has been filled with learning and discovery for me. Each day brings new insights and understanding of how this dynamic platform operates.
My world on the Hive platform revolves entirely around Inleo, as it's the only Hive frontend my keystore account can access. While this might seem limiting to some, it has actually allowed me to focus my energy and efforts in a concentrated way. The goal I set for myself for the year 2025 focused primarily on growing my presence, building meaningful connections, and growing my Leo stacks - all within the Inleo and Leofinance community.
As a beginner on this platform, I've been limited to Inleo where I engage daily on threads and create long posts, which shaped the focus of my goals. This consistent engagement has helped me understand the platform's dynamics better. Through daily interactions and content creation, I've learned the importance of regular participation and community engagement.
What's particularly interesting is that I've come to understand that my activities on Inleo are equivalent to being active on Hive in general. This realization was important, whatever goal I have for Inleo translates to Hive as a whole. The platform's interconnected nature means that growth in one area contributes to overall presence and influence.
From experience, I've learned that goals broken down into smaller bits are easier to accomplish. Instead of making a yearly target that might feel overwhelming, I decided to set monthly goals. This approach has proven very effective for tracking progress and maintaining motivation.
During my first month, I set what I believed were reasonable targets - aiming for 20 followers and reaching 1,000 Leo power. I was delighted when I not only achieved but exceeded these goals, ending the month with 23 followers and 1,200 Leo power. This early success validated my strategy of setting manageable monthly targets rather than more daunting yearly ones.
My second month proved even more successful, though I maintained modest goals. I aimed to reach 2,000 Leo power and increase my followers to 30. The results far exceeded my expectations - my follower count jumped significantly from 23 to 48, while my Leo power reached an impressive 5,000. This substantial growth demonstrated that consistent engagement and realistic goal-setting can lead to remarkable results.
The journey for the two months proved to me that success on Hive is not in setting great targets but rather in steady progress and consistent engagement. By focusing on monthly achievements instead of a very far yearly goal, it has helped me stay motivated and track progress a lot easier. Each little victory built onto the other to continue momentum and fuel growth.
The beauty of such a strategy is in its simplicity, the fact that larger targets are divided into smaller, achievable goals, the way to success is easier to see and more endurable, instead of being intimidated by the far-reaching targets, I go step by step with every month that passes, celebrating small wins.
Since I got here on Hive, setting and pursuing monthly goals has been my strategy, and that is something I will keep doing since the results so far have proven that this works. It brought in growth which continues to surpass every initial expectation each month, whether it was follower or Leo power-related.
The experience further solidified certain beliefs in me regarding patience, persistence, and well-planned goals for any platform. In other words, realistic expectations, coupled with steady and clearly directed efforts, can bring considerable organic growth in due time. It all depends on breaking down the bigger ambition into pieces and steadfastly working to realize it piece by piece.
Going forward, I will continue this process of setting monthly goals and updating them based on experiences and lessons learned from both successes and setbacks along the way. The journey thus far has been so rewarding; I look forward to seeing what the coming months bring about as I continue to grow and get more involved in the Hive ecosystem.
This is a submission for today's prompt in the #Januaryinleo daily writing prompts challenge.

Very inspiring post, nice to see new users staying and growing with us in the ecosystem. I myself do yearly goals and then divide by 12 but your approach might be better when accounting exponential growth, if you get to a target early you can set it up higher for next month instead of just thinking you when over your part of the year and taking your foot of the pedal. I might reflect more on that.
Thank you for the support, I appreciate.
I don't like setting high goal for myself because I don't want to be under pressure that will make me look like a failure if I don't achieve the goal at the set time. I go bit by bit which remove pressure completely and give me the flexibility to enjoy the journey and have fun along like there's no goal in sight.
