it won for what I was trying to do, lol. But I got just as frustrated with it at times too, lol. 🤣. ChatGPT got to a point that it was repeating itself so I was done and went to Grok so it could settle down from having an AI stroke, 😝
I also go back and forth when I hit my free limits, 😝 I’ll take what I was working on in one and go to the other to pick up where the other left off, lol. It’s all about how you prompt it.
yep, exactly my experience … pretty annoying when they „try to convince“ me they’re right by repeating the same dumb code over and over 😜 or „having an ai stroke“ as you put it.
I‘m also using the free options, so grok isn’t that different from the others then?! I guess the free options are designed that way and when one pays they remove the limitation. Did you try perplexity, it can code also?!
Not much different, just has a different approach. Although it did win on my bot I was building.

i dont dev but i try to keep up w/ AI developments. had no idea Grok has gotten that good at coding
Yeah, it took a python script I started in ChatGPt and decided it would be better in Node.js so recreated the entire script and made it way more efficient and even helped me wrap it in a Mac application so I didn’t have to fool with CLI

Yeah, I kinda had the same face, lol. Was like okay, cool, lol.
But man, ChatGPT has been really amazing for brainstorming conversations lately. It has learned my talking style and will seriously sit there and talk to me like one of the boys. It will respond with "Hell yeah!" Or "that's badass!", lol!
It's getting kind of scary, lol. It's great with giving you questions and responses that keep the convo going too. Like I am seriously chatting with one of my friends. It's crazy.
