My dad was a hoarder, especially when it came to tools and things he could create with. Most of this stuff 'he will use one day' has been sitting here for 20 years or more, lol.
His spirit and I have been having some spats over me throwing away this old stuff.
Of course I am keeping some of the useful stuff, but he was the guy that had 20 hammers, 15 tape measures, 6 socket sets, you know, he was that kind of guy, lol.
And then let's not get started on the heavy ass metal and clay boulders that weigh a ton... Let's just say I am getting my work out in... LOL
And I am still not done...

He was an artist, and one thing he told me was 'Son, when I die, all that art out there in storage will be quadruple it's value', haha. Then he followed it up with we could sell all his unused diapers and Ensure drinks on eBay and make a fortune, lol. He was a bit of a nut. He has some good power tools and such so that is really good. Some things I can reuse to build stuff I need around the farm, like some good lumber and some metal conduit piping and such. Much of the rest is rusted or rotted, lol.

Yeah. I am still driving my dads old truck. It is not really very good, but it's hard to get rid of it.
Other things of his were much easier to let go. He was a records guy and had every receipt, bill and piece of paper that crossed his desk in 70 year time period.
Those went quickly and I am sure he was rolling over in the grave on that one. 🤣
