Okay, just replaced the tail light housing and assembly on my GMC Yukon. It was busted because someone other than me backed into something and cracked the light.
Rain has been getting in and causing sensor issues that have been killing the battery and causing havoc to my electrical system.
I am hoping to god that this is the fix to all these issues.
Charging the battery to full before I try to start to see if I have been successful in resetting these sensors, lol.
Give me an old square body Chevy or old muscle car, lol. The problem with those is that the owners of them know what they have and are more expensive than many new cars, lol.
I just hope it works!
Good job, never an easy job to do!

Yeah, this has been a nightmare. Took 2 shops including the dealership, throwing $2000 at repairs that it 'could have been' and then figuring out it was the damn $60 tail-light the whole time. My mom's friend told them his was $2500 so that's why she never took it to get it fixed. Found an exact replacement on Amazon for $60 and took me 20 minutes to put it in. After the computers reset, cranked up like a champ with NO CODES! I was like are you freaking serious? LOL
Instills confidence in those repair shops doesn't it? They just wanted all of your money! lol

Yeah, the week my Dad passed too, it was like the cherry on the cake. Me and the internet defeated it! LOL.
Sorry to hear that, it's a tough to lose a parent. Lost both of mine 11 and 13 years ago now, not a day goes by that I don't miss them! Hang in there, but I'm glad you got this big victory today!
Thanks, needed it.
