I was just having this conversation with my Mom the other day in the fact that her generation was brainwashed because growing up, all they knew was what the 3 major broadcasting networks shoved down their throats.

There comes a point that you just have to do you and not worry about what they say or think. For me, that was my family moving away for years because we needed to live our own journey without everyone else's input. At least for those of us who are in search of true personal freedom, IDK, it's probably just me, lol. I love my mom to death, but there are just things I can't take her advise on anymore because she doesn't really know herself most of the time.
