Nice, been a while I've consumed your posts!

Do we still have a problem of storing text in a decentralized, censorship-resistant way?

NO, Hive solved it.

Have we solved the problem of being able to send value in a peer-to-peer way without middlemen and without expensive fees?

Yes, Hive solved it.

Hive is amazing, I agree.

The Hive community now needs to:

  • Get Hive listed on more centralized exchanges for visibility. Use DHF funds to do that. People love using CEXs because of the user experience. We need to make it easy for people to be exposed to HIVE and HBD while these HBD-BTC liquidity pools you speak of are being built. They don't exist yet.
  • Burn DHF funds
  • Stop supporting stupid projects
  • Run more hackathons to bring more programmers to build here and continue to improve existing tools like v4vapp, Distriator, 3Speak, etc.

Regarding converting HBD to HIVE when the price is low: people are going to speculate. You can't change that. Who wouldn't want e a Hive whale if given a chance?

I understand and agree with most of what you say, but I wish 3speak had a subtitle feature, it would be easier for me and others to understand 😅

Id' love for someone to tell me where the dollar value from hive and HBD comes from outside of just speculation being that there's zero fees on the chain and zero ad revenue. Then explain to me how without those things hive would survive rewarding content when it has nothing dollar wise to subsidize it outside of what investors have put in or keep putting into hive. (This is not a shot it's a legitimate question and concern of mine that I would like to understand others viewpoints on and see what things really need to be done to continue to add value)

I've talked about this a lot.

3 pillars. Distributed database = censorship resistance = value.

Min validator count of 20 + backups = small amount of inflation for security and distribution = no fees needed.

No fees = superior product.

Hive dollars, instantly send a dollar anywhere in the world for free. = value

Basically, when push comes to shove most chains can and will be censored through their premines and VC backed infrastructure. Thus, they have no real value.

If Hive can preserve true censorship resistance, well that has value. How much value? We shall see.

I need someone to AI my content so you can just ask these questions and get better answers, because it takes a book to understand (which me and matt wrote one actually) so hard to give an informed answer without writing a ton.

Sería extraordinario poder escuchar la información en español, al parecer es un tema muy interesante que habla de como se generan ganancias

Think about Hive like this:

Wen btc/Hive liquidity pool? Commenting before listening

Nice to listen, while browsing Hive.

It was a bit difficult to understand everything for myself, but I feel like I got smarter from here.

Cat caught me, thought it was one of my own furry demons.

HIVE is great, but why is it ranked only at 461 on Coingecko? With under 100 million market cap we are quite small... It would really be helpful if HIVE became EVM compatible for game developers and HIVE credibility as well as listed on Coinbase. I know you said exchanges are outdated and all, but it would make things so much easier to on-ramp in US... Right now to buy HIVE I would have to buy BTC or ETH or Litecoin on Coinbase then transfer that into Hiveengine and swap it for HIVE.

P.S. What is up with the Build-a-Whale multiple posts below?
