The priority in "For You" feeds is more important than it seems, it makes your threads seen by more people and for longer, normally after a few minutes your thread stops being seen and therefore whoever has not seen it already It will not vote for you, that changes with the premium, users will see your threads hours and even days after publishing them, that will mean that those who did not see it at the time can see it now and therefore vote for it.
Think about the more exposure, the more votes and therefore the more $LEO, $HIVE and $HBD for your threads.
