Your engagement shows how active you are in a particular community and interacting with other hivers will enable you to get noticed and you can gain more followers through commenting on other people's blog ,so many newbies may not understand this . some think all you need to do is to put up a write-up or get some pictures with intresting stories but it beyond that ,

When I came onboard I never knew how important engaging is .I keep making post but I get less attention and low vote on my contents . So ,I kept asking my self what have I not done well not until I keep engaging on people's post with meaningful comments and with that I was able to get solution to my problem .
As a newbie, you must engage not just short comments a meaningful comment make it an habit to engage with at least 5people daily with good comments I can assure you that it will take you to a desired level.

Engagement is really something important to progress and grow both in Hive and in LeoFinance; and in this regard, I can say that it took me a long time to understand it, but finally I have understood it.
As you well said, engagement is not only about publishing our posts, but also about genuinely interacting with the content of others (voting, commenting, etc.); since this will allow us to gain followers and people who also want to vote and comment on our posts contents.
I think the key to success in all of this is perseverance, so I agree with everything you say in this post, but especially with the part where you recommend to make at least five daily comments to other authors' posts (and that these comments are significants); since this, in addition to making us known and help us growing on the platform, keeps us active and learning every step of the way.

I really appreciate your comment and support on my post thanks so much, for a very long I did not realized how important it is to be commenting and engaging on peoples post and that really affect my growth but now that I understand how its works am trying my best to engage with people as much as possible so that I can catch up with higher goals ,also with leofinace I have learn a lot and am so happy I discovered it on time ,do have a blessed Sunday @piensocrates

Engagement is the most important thing. It's like oxygen! Also, engagement breeds engagement. :)) The best part about Hive is that you have a chance to get paid while engaging. It's the easiest money you can make.
